Rob Jordan, MHP, CHP

Our Director of Physics, Rob holds a Master's Degree in Radiation Health Physics and is a Certified Health Physicist. Fundamentally, Radiation Health Physics is the study of the interactions of different types of radiation with different types of matter and the effects of those interactions. When neutrons and electrons interact with gemstones, amazing things happen, but there is potential to improve the process, and anyone working in the field will admit that. Innovative Gemstones intends to act on that potential. Rob has studied gemstone irradiation for years, initially researching the field on his own. He also worked with one of the founders of the industry for two years irradiating gemstones with new reactors in the United States. Rob is passionate and determined to succeed in the gemstone irradiation field and his passion is reflected in every aspect of Innovative Gemstones as a business.

Sarah Jordan, GG

Our COO, Sarah brings years of experience working in the gem industry.  A Graduate Gemologist, Sarah has worked for one of the most successful and forward thinking companies in the jewelry industry. Her roles have included all aspects of operations including identification and grading of diamonds and colored gemstones for bulk purchase, jewelry buying, maintaining vendor relationships, shipping/receiving, coordination of product flow,  and accurately operating a complex back-end inventory management system.  Which is to say, she is the perfect person to ensure that our company operates with the highest standards for quality control, inventory management, customer relations, efficient and timely product throughput and customer communication.
